A few years ago, when I first started in the Local experts program, I just gave stars and didn’t write reviews. But when I myself tried to focus only on estimates, I realized that there was not enough information. What is the difference between 4.2 and 4.5? Is it important for me things have affected the estimation? And when I was first evaluated as a businessman, I realized that I had to do it differently. Since then, I almost always make a detailed review and attach several photos in addition to the stars.
I hope that my feedback helps business owners make their business more successful by changing. Therefore, I am very happy when the owner responds to my review. At the same time, I hope that my negative reviews, left without attention by the owner, but seen by other users, and decided not to visit this place, will lead to the fact that the plaсe will go bankrupt, and in its place will open someone who will be more attentive to the opinion of customers. And the world will be better!
Of course, I’m also happy when I get a ‘like’ for a review. I understand that I gave the information well and helped someone make the right decision.
And when the owner responds to the review, and it is evaluated by users, it means that I really did my job well! As an example, a review of one of the unusual places in St. Petersburg (in Russian). I almost immediately got a response from the owner, and I thought that this is great, they follow the opinion, they they will succeed. And then the review got a few likes, so users understand what this place is!
It is clear that the world will not be perfect, but I hope that it will be better with my reviews!
