Hello there!
My name is Shishir Gautam and I am from Pokhara, Nepal. I have been working as a local guide for more than 3 years and it has been an amazing journey. As a local guide, I provide relevant information about different places of my country Nepal. This is important because, our country is still lacking sufficient information about different places of Nepal that hold great potential. Working as a Local Guide, I want to make my country for reachable and more known to outside world. For this, I used to uploads images/ videos regarding the places that I visit, write a review about them and add other sufficient information. I often add places that are not added in the Google Maps for better reachability. Moreover, there are also a-lot of false information regarding different places of our country. So, I try to correct them as much as possible so that no one will have trouble in future.
In my opinion, Local Guides Program is an effective tool to make my dream come true. Through this program I am able to make all contributions to google map so that, people visiting Nepal will have more information about our places and thus will have trouble-free journey.
At a glance, I believe that Local Guide Program will surely make places around us more accessible and thus make world better.
