Dashboard in the spirit of gaming: for me the local guide community is a personal dashboard where I can monitor my reviews, the impact of my photos, the locations I create, the badges, what I am missing to earn more points and proceed to the next level. This is the “vertical” selfish usage of it, in the spirit of plying and competing a bit, this is fun.
Curiosity: Local guide program is a community where I can stay connected with people and businesses that I love and thanks to their recommendations I could find out more interesting places, spots and remain up-to-date on the activities delivered. This is the “horizontal” usage of the community.
