In 2016 I traveled to Moscow for getting master’s degree. At that time I knew nothing about Russian language, but I was so excited to explore the city and to know where to get food and other necessary stuff.
I woke up early the 2nd day at Moscow and got myself ready for the adventure. I started walking on streets without understanding their names, I couldn’t read any sign though. I also didn’t know how to use the public transport and to be honest, I was afraid of getting lost. At that moment I realized that Google Maps is the only thing can help me find what I’m looking for.
My small trip was 12 km on foot. The local Guides reviews and and photos were the only thing that helped me every day in Moscow and the only thing that helped me getting back home that day. Since then, I decided to be a Local Guide so I can help other people.
