I feel proud to be part of this great community of people who are interested in helping others to achieve something bigger than their personal agenda. The Local Guides program has been one of the most interesting things that has ever happened to me because I find myself in a position where others rely on the information I provide on specific places to take an informed decision. Honestly that is something that feels me with great pride. I may not be very popular in my community but I sure am to the many tourists, holiday seekers, event planners and several others who use my information on Local Guides to help them plan well.
It’s been more than three years now since I joined the Local Guides program and for me it’s been awesome. I have this sense of pride to be part of a global community contributing to make life better for others.
