I am a travel enthusiast - not speechless but a storyteller. I like freedom but I value happiness. Google Local Guides program is, indeed, a great addition to my life, not just because it is so much fun to be a part of it but to be a part of a great cause i.e. helping real people by sharing real experiences. I love to see people when I see them happy as they find the desired information on the Maps with great ease. Local Guides program is not just another program but a self-learning lesson that helps me to get better at what I do – become more conscious of the surroundings, experience everything more intensely, value quality over quantity, be more thoughtful, social and empathetic.
To me, the Local Guides program means helping others and getting help in return while having so much fun. Being an Local Guide does not require a certification or expertise – all it requires is the will to contribute!
