What does the Local Guides program mean to me?

Google local guide program means a lot to me because of many reasons.

Some of them are mentioned below

  1. It gave me fame :grin:

  2. I polished my photography skills through it.

  3. Feel myself proud to be part of it.

  4. More confident to help others

It gave me fame

I still remember the time when I added a shop on Google maps for first time and shop keeper started getting more customers , later he came to know from my review and photos that I added him on maps. He treated my dinner :blush: and I was happy with it. Later, other people began to ask me for adding their restaurants and shops on Google maps, that’s how I got famous in the area where I live.

I got a lot of views, I never expected it.

I polished my photography skills through it.

I began to post photos like a professional photographer after being a local guide because I knew thousands of people are going to look at them.

this photo motivated me to contribute more on Google maps.

Feel myself proud to be part of it.

I was feeling a little bit special being someone who is helping others through good quality reviews and photos. Whenever I eat outside, I always take photo by thinking that it might help shopkeeper and costumers.

Moreover, I got a lot to learn from it. By helping others I met new people and came to know about many places that I had never been before.

I’m thankful to Google for creating such useful service of Google Maps which is helping all world in different ways each second.
