What does the Local Guides program mean to me

Hi everyone, I’m Thomas, 26 years old, web and mobile application developer living in the south of France :sunglasses:

I started my adventure as a local guide a little bit less than one year ago, during a break. I was looking at the sea, when I realized that I could share experience with other people.

I think it’s the main goal of this community, share and help everybody. Like internet, it’s an autonomous network, everyone can share its point of view and contribute to its growth.

We can help a new shop by reviewing it: if the service is bad, we can help the owner with a constructive review and, if it’s good, thanks him. That’s also our duty, our words have a power and, as Benjamin Park said, “with great power comes great responsibility”

I’ve not reviewing many places, I’m a very very local guides ^^, but I’m enjoying this role and help people that don’t know the region :slightly_smiling_face:

Hoping to meet some of you in October (I think the containment should be over  ).
