The local guide program means several things to me:
I consider I am starting on this journey of being a local guide, but it gives me a feeling of belonging to a large worldwide community and look forward in meeting fellow local guides, either from my city or from other places in the world.
I have always liked to travel and did it often when I was younger, I have even lived in a couple of different countries. I would have liked to have something like this program exist at that time, it would have made the process of getting to know a new place and it’s culture a lot easier for me. Being part of this program, is a way of helping a new generation of travelers (and even locals), and make them have an easier time getting to know my city.
Finally, the Local Guides Program, has helped me become more aware of my surroundings and discover great new places and experiences, and share them with the world!
