Hello!
In response to this year’s event call, this is the meaning that being part of this program has for me.
First of all, I want to thank for being invited one more time.
For me, this program is such an opportunity to share, learn and enjoy doing something I love.
I got my first invitation to join the community some years ago without knowing being a Local Guide could make me feel so proud and useful.
Now that a few years had passed I realize I’m part of something big, not just for being a contributor to people’s ventures by sending my reviews but for doing something that makes feel very satisfied.
I began a gastronomic career last year and that complements a lot my work as a Local Guide. Now I see the impact of the reviews from a nearer point and I can also be more objective when I make a comment about a place. Now that I know what to expect I know better what to say about the experience when I go home from there. I think the most important thing, no matter where we go, is to treat and be treated kindfully.
I put respect and kindness above all. And good food, of course…
