It happened at first because I had the motivation to inform others about my experience; however, it developed over the years to become a strong connection between myself and Google’s community.
The program to me means learning. I learn a lot by reading comments written by others, and I get the sense of satisfaction returning the favor by telling my stories to inform and advise those who might be in need of the knowledge I obtained.
It also means teamwork that helps may people to connect and work together on the same task of informing the rest of Google’s community. Over the years, I feel connected to Google over and over. It started by using Gamil, then photos, YouTube, and never stopped since. I cannot describe my feelings when I saw a big Google sign in my town and learned that Google has operations in my area. For someone who always sees google only online, I simply felt even more connected to it as it’s not virtual-only anymore!
This program means a lot to me. Besides informing and giving back to all of the free services we get from Google every day, I developed a sense of ownership and accountability. It’s almost my second job now.
In the future, I see myself becoming even more engaged, contributing, becoming creative in ways of contribution, and connecting with guides who’re in my region or province, so we can develop greater ideas!
