I discovered Local Guide when I was looking for information of restaurants in Mexico City and I could see a few reviews from different people, so I started visiting recommended places, in some reviews I was in agreement but in many others not; so I decided to start being a Local Guide in December 2017, on my first trip to Mexico.
My first review was in a restaurant near to Paseo de la Reforma in Mexico City, since that moment I loved to give my opinion about the places. Then, I went to upload photos option , and I did my first review.
Being Local Guide has become a hobby , since thanks to this I have been able to know different places (real or virtual) in addition to having the possibilty of making reviews of those places from my perspective and opinion.
The Local Guide program is important to me, since it made me feel like a person who does something for travelers,as well the possibility with my photos, comments and reviews to help people, because most of them use this tool to search for recommended places and locations to visit in different cities . By doing that I realized that every single time that I went to another city I wanted to discover all that place can offer to me and Local Guides made it easier, hence, that together with my family we can visit different places and at the same time let other people live a great experience
