Hello everyone,
My name is Linda, I was born in Latvia, but in my twenties decided to come to England for some new adventures and work experience. Now, 16 years later I am still here, enjoying all the beautiful things that England has to offer and now I am able to share these things with you.
I am new to Local Guides application and didn’t know about it’s existence until I received this very tempting email of Connect Live 2020. I know… right?.. where have I been? Although I am a newbie here, I know exactly what I’m doing when aploading my pictures to Google maps or writing a review about recently visited restaurant.
I’m a mum of two boys and a wife to lovely husband and we are always out and about, discovering new places and enjoying breathtaking views, that all of course is captured in pictures and videos. It is so easy to get new info and find out about new events, there is no excuse not to attend or not to go and check it all out. I am so great full to Google and all of you local guides for sharing and making this possible.
I can’t express my gratitude enough for being born in the age where information can be axessed instantly. I like to believe: “The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing”. People are so different from each other, coming from different backgrounds, having different values and views, living different lifestyles. The more we share the more we all have the knowledge and subsequently choices. Every one and each of us deserves to have the knowledge so we all have a chance. I’m not afraid to ask and nor am I afraid to share, I know it will make a difference for that one person and that one person is an important tool for our society. This is how we are all connected. So thank you all for sharing and thank you for taking your time to read my post. Nice to meat you, take care of your selves and others in these uncertain times, #stayhome for now!
