There are many important things in the life of each person, but making and helping others through this community is the most noble thing that each member can do.
As a local guide this is one of the important things that I have made to provide visual information so that others can also reach it.
The Local Guide program for me means:
1. As a solo traveler it makes my journeys simple, it saves time to look for hotels, restaurants, museums, bars, parks etc. The time and effort that other partners of local guides put in this program makes my life easy, especially when I am in a country with a different language which is hard to communicate my ideas to find a place… I just open the app, look what I need and what is near. I read and see the ‘five 
star reviews’ which enables me to walk to my destination without complications. If I have doubts I will ask the community and sometimes I receive suggestions from other local guides that have been there before me. .
**2.**Local guides replace those big old paper maps that often made us lose our location arriving to another place without a clue. With the local guide program and ‘Google maps’ I am sure this is not going to happen again. People can type addresses, questions and get results faster to get to our destination without problems.
**3.**Being inclusive in an important aspect of the community. It will help people by sharing my experiences through pictures, opinions, and knowledge of places in my town, city and country.
**4.**Improve references of local restaurants, shops, markets, theaters etc… and sometimes discovering and updating new little ‘gems.’ Creating a buzz for them, making new friends and giving better options to others that they can enjoy too.
