What does the Local Guides program mean to me?

Local Guides program really helps people to get fact information about locations and businesses. It is a free service from Google Maps that lets anyone contribute photos, videos, reviews, and more. The idea is for Local Guides users to help improve Google Maps by informing users about businesses via real feedback based on their personal experiences. The more active of a local guide can earn more points that level up from level 1 to level 10. Anyone who sees local guide’s reviews, photos, videos, answers, etc., on Google Maps can see my current level, which can help my contributions carry trust and authenticity. It also helps me to increase businesses. So this program especially mean to me and it motivated me as a passion of local guide. Being a Local Guide doesn’t just provide my community with valuable information, I also get early access to Google features and special perks from Google’s partners. Beyond those Local Guide benefits are badges and recognition by other users. The more I contribute, the more points I earn, which other users can see when they run across my profile on Google Maps. For example, if someone sees my review or views photos I’ve uploaded, they can see my level next to my name. I can think of it proud.
