All of us, in some moment of our lives, have needed to search a location; a park, a mall, a store. Maybe because we want to know the street where we’ll turn, we just need to buy something, we have a plan for a date … or maybe not. It’s then where we as clients think that we desserve to know the perfect place, that will provide us the best possible experience.
There’s where us, as a communitiy of local guides, can help to every person near to our town, to find exactly what they are looking for.
The Local Guides Programm from Google has helped me to improve my communications skills, my way to say to the people what they need to know preovusly their arrivemente at any place. It have been so gratifying write some lines about a place, that maybe i wanted to know before, and even if users aren’t looking exactly for the reviews, i’m sure that there will be houndreds of persons grateful for our words, as i am with many others comments.
I think that our job it’s not only the comments that we do, it’s also important the photos we take, the corrections we make, so we can help anyone, that never been in a spescific place before, to know exactly what to expect and, above all, how to find it easily.
I do my best to help people, to update some old reviews from some other guides, and to put new bussines in the map, helping the owners and customers alike. I believe that’s the point of this, that’s the force that motivate us to make this community stronger and help us, as a Guides, as a persons, as a customers.
As Local Guide it’s so significative when i realize that my contribution has helped, even if it’s a person, 'cause i know then that someone’s reading, and that motivates me to continue sharing what i learn in every place that i’ve been.
