Hi everyone!
Well, let’s first get to know one another 
My name is Polina, I’m 24 years old and I`m from a small town near Kiev. I am working as a tax consultant, I fall in love with yoga and a chocolate is my weakness.
Well, so you know, I have thought how better to answer on the question « What does the Local Guides program mean to me?» for a long time, what should I write. I have read a lot of answers from other Local Guides (how my mum said “You should always know your competitors" 
) and have decided to be myself, to be honest.
So, what does this program mean to me? First, these are the possibilities:
- The opportunity is to visit America, to get acquainted with its culture, mentality, to see what is in one of the most democratic countries in the world inside, to learn the psychology of the inhabitants and it is a possibly to implementation something useful in the homeland.
- The opportunity is to visit Google. Who did not dream after watching the movie “The Internship” about to be on a list of its ranks. It doesn’t need many words, Google is the leader, the leader of today, a simple confirmation of these words is the fact that more than 97% of the planet’s inhabitants who have a gadget and Internet access are Google users daily.
- The opportunity is to make new interesting acquaintances, new ideas, launch new joint projects, play in a collaboration.
Certainly, the Local Guides program is a hobby for me now. It allows to share my views (I love photography, I maintain my own Instagram page is my little corner of creativity ), share experiences, skills, be useful to society, influence and care about good and to give pleasant impressions of others.
And by the way, I found out about the Local Guides program recently, at the end of 2019, and when I was in Germany I was convinced that this is a very convenient and useful thing that allows you to solve problems in seconds. For this, thanks a lot the developers and the team that helped to translate the idea into reality.
