My name is Elad Shmuely, I am from Israel and I spent a great deal of my life studying and learning about the world. Looking throw the eyeglasses of book and Scholler. but in everything there is more than meets the eye
During the last ten years, i have been working as a professional tour guide across the world and I came to realize the power of image and the impact of words.
Every time, it amazes me to see how people react to new experiences, to a new culture, to new emotion. It is beautiful to see how they grasp different ideas and concept, and how it takes a hold of them. I am delighted to see how they react to new wonders around us, when places they saw in an old picture or a story they heard comes to life.
I love to see that because of my recommendations, people ask questions and want to try new things they truly want to know, to reveal what is hidden. I especially like that through my photos and words, people get to experience places that they do not know, and it makes them want to go and check it out for themselves.
It is very rewarding to strengthen business and especially smaller business. I love to see how the owner react to my photos and critique. I think this is a very powerful tool and I handle it with cautious.
The local guides program makes me understand how easy it is to share thoughts and give back to the community. How we can bridge over culture differences and mileage, and make the picture comes to life. The program allows me to share a story that transforms from a silent object into a living tale. Being a local guide helps me to connect to people all over the world, to make them see the world through my eyes and through a different point of view.
The image attracts the eye, but the word captures the heart and soul.
