I started being a local guide member because one of my best friends told me that it was possible to share our photos on Google Maps. Since that, I decided to try it. I am a guy that likes to travel, discover new places, in my country (Portugal), and wherever I can go. Photographing everything is what I do, I like to take a good photo and this is where the magic starts.
I only use google maps to move for everywhere, and discover where should I go, search where to eat, what to visit, reviews, photos, for me this is what it means. Help the others with our recomendations, and get help with other’s reviews for free. Sometimes I publish photos of unknown places, and people ask me where is it, I just have to share my Local Guide Link, and they will know exactly where is that place.
I live near to Alcobaça, most known because of this incredible piece of art, this is our monastery. I can see new people everyday coming to visit the city, taking photos, sharing them. What Google Local Guide do is show to the people, the world seen by us Local Guides, we do part of this “family” that help sharing it.
