Hello! My name is Jenna-Lynn Roadside and I am a level 7 Local Guide. The Google Local Guide program means more to me than just reviewing places that I have been to. It means honesty and kindness. My fiance travels for work quite often; and a lot of the times, I travel with him. While he is working, I am often left on my own to get food, and/or entertain myself. I have used other Local Guide’s reviews to guide me in new cities. I have been able to get a great cup of coffee or a delicious lunch based on other Local Guide’s honest reviews. I can also connect with others who have a similar passion for traveling. I have connected with people from all around the globe and shared my favorite places to eat, dance and drink while on the road.
Also, during the Corona Virus outbreak, it is more important than ever to stay connected. Google Local Guides has given me a place to share my feelings with others who are also staying in their homes. I feel less alone in this community. I have friends in all parts of the world who I can share my experiences and give advice to. I hope that they feel just as comfortable sharing these things with me.
This was my all time favorite Local Guide find. The US Botanical Gardens in Washington DC-they are beautiful, educational and have no admission fee. Thank you to the Local Guides program for all of your help and advice while I am visiting a new city!
