Hello friends local guides, my name is Miguel and I am a local guide level 7.
I currently live in one of the most beautiful and safest cities in my country, Merida Yucatan in Mexico.
I began to share photos of my trips and give opinions of the places I visited to contribute to other travelers, in addition to knowing the opinions of other travelers when choosing which places to visit.
To this day I share routes and opinions of the places in my city so that travelers can get to know pleasant places and get a good impression of this beautiful and colorful city.
As a local guide I like to support people who have their own places - food or lodging, sometimes tours, others make products from home, entrepreneurs or creators of clothing, footwear, crafts. These people move the local economy, respect the environment and preserve their traditions and native indigenous language –MAYA-
Reviewing or recommending this type of business increases their sales and activates the local economy.
Being a local guide has changed the way I travel, to another country or city I can know the local economy places that other travelers recommend.
Sharing photos of the places so that travelers have an overview of the place helps a lot to visit the places that I recommend.
Before knowing the local guide program, my trips were complicated, I did not know all the benefits of being a local guide and I am grateful for the reviews and recommendations.
