So what does a local guide mean to me…… put simply its means I am giving something back to other Google map. I’m contributing and helping others as they help me. Life is all about give and take. By being a local guide I am giving and not just taking. That’s cool.
I love providing really useful tips i.e what the best dishes are in a particular tapas restaurant, what time a museum becomes ‘free’ on a certain day, photos of entry time and prices – useful info that I want to know too. I use Google Maps ALL the time. Seville is a complicated city to navigate around so Google Maps is essential. I plan where I am going and what I am going to do on Google Maps. Then I use it to guide me around! So it really important that I contribute as well.
