Last year when I was applying for Connect Live 2019, I described that being a local guide is my way to give justice to businesses, good and bad ones. Now that one year has past, I’ve learned other rewarding causes that I am a local guide for.
For example, I like to go on walks and hikes, many times I found myself at places that are absolutely stunning, I would take photos and add them to Maps, reminding people that such beauty is out there and everyone deserves to know and enjoy it.
Apart from this, I’ve always been a strong believer of giving back. The local guides community consists of millions of members who collectively helped shaping the ecosystem of Maps. I’ve benefited so much from this ecosystem that giving back is not only logical but a great pleasure.
So, there I said it, being a local guide to me is about justice, sharing and giving back! All the good values in one package!
