When I noticed the Local Guides program, which is provided by Google, I took a fancy to it.
As a Internet addict searcher, I like to view visiting comments and super stars. From where I would like to travel, to which hospital is better to go. It really helps me a lot. But sometimes I read the wrong pictures or old information on the Net. As a result, I started to join the Local Guides big family.
At the beginning, I just want to record my experience of going on a trip as a basis for future reference. Not for fun but for easy recall. A month later, I received an email from Google Maps. The letter said that more than 2000 people had viewed my reviews, and about 4000 people had seen my photos. At that time, I felt a great sense of accomplishment.
Then I tried to write opinions for all the places I’ve been to. I have always loved exploring places I haven’t been and introducing them to others. But I tend to be shy in front of the camera, I prefer to use articles to express my personal point of views. And the Local Guides program provided a very suitable stage for me to share my stories while helping others . So, what does this program mean to me?
It’s a platform where I can freely fulfill my expertise and interests in order to gain a sense of accomplishment.
