What does The Local Guides Program mean to me

To me, being a local guide means a lot:

  • Sharing your experiences with others
  • Letting others know your opinion (good and not-so-good) about a place/service
  • Making suggestions to places such as phone numbers, open hours, etc.

As an open-source-enthusiast software engineer, I love the idea of having an open source of information, because when it comes to decide whether to go to one restaurant, a dinner or a bar, it means a lot to have other’s opinion and reviews to make the decision.
