Hello, hello to all of you, my dearest friends! I am Olena from Kharkiv, Ukraine. I have never set any special goal to be a local guide or something like that. Once I just decided to tell other people about the places that I had visited and show them how beautiful they were. I wanted my comments and photos, and my experience to help everyone to make the most of their travelling, save their time, money, give them the chance to enjoy the places they wanted to visit.
To say that Local Guides program means much for me is nothing to say! It is my world! I feel useful when I can help people with my photos or reviews. For two years I have been on maternity leave and for women like me it is very important to stay the course, so it is one of those many advantages that Local Guides program provides me with. I still feel useful sharing my opinion, answering people’s questions and giving them my advice if needed.
Unfortunately I do not have the opportunity to travel much, it happens rarely. But thanks to other local guides I can see the photos of wonderful places and read about them. And you know, thanks to you, my dear local guides. It seems to me that I have travelled around the whole world! It’s a magic due to which I can travel not leaving my home.
