I discovered the Local Guides program by accident. 6 years ago I changed my field of activity. Now I had to travel frequently on business and look for different places. In this regard, I needed a city navigation program. I started using Google maps, but over time I noticed that a lot of information was not marked on the map. After that, I began to add places and information to the map myself. After that, the Local Guides program started giving me ratings and encouraging me. So it became very interesting to me and I became interested in it. I want to help people and be something useful to them, but mostly Iām busy and can not do something real. And therefore, when the program of local guides tells me that 50,000 people watched my photos, it means that my information helped someone. And it is very nice. If each person, to the best of his ability, tries to improve the world around him, then life on earth will become better. Therefore, the Local Guides program means a lot to me, this is an opportunity to make at least a small contribution to improving the life of society.
