I took this image of Braamfontein in Johannesburg my first day, and that pretty much sums it up for me. I started in my first year of University to take pictures like these of beautiful and colorful gardens, landscapes and buildings so that I can share them online with people who are considering visiting these places or are on the process of relocating for work or studying, because for me I did not know what to expect at Pretoria and the University of Pretoria until I got there, and I was immediately breath taken by the beauty of the city and that’s when I knew exactly that this place needs to be documented and shared with the online community.
Later on I moved from Pretoria to Cape Town, needless to say about the beauty of Cape Town but I was already in too deep with taking pictures and sharing them that I had to, and that has been the impact of the local guide program to me, I will keep doing what I love and cherry on top there’s a platform readily available to me to share with other people to interact by liking, commenting, sharing and even asking questions or suggesting other places to check that I wouldn’t be able to think of by myself.
So now I live in Johannesburg and my first day I took that image almost as a reflex but it has been the best image I have taken this far.
