What does the Local Guides program mean to me?

Hi! I’m Federico and I’m a Local Guide. I really enjoy being a Local Guide on Google Maps because I feel like I can help others with something easy but at the same time remarkably important such as travel and places information. I like to travel so it’s pretty normal I happen to be around the World several times every year and I really like to write reviews and to give useful information to other users on places I visit so they can have an overview on what they’re going to find! I think that if I had to struggle to find information and helpful resources as far as the places that I’ve been to are concerned, why would others have to struggle too? I like to make other travelers life easier by leaving them my experience on Google Maps, besides, I like photography, so I love to post my shots on Google Maps.

Profoundly, i am privileged to be asked, to be tasked and to provide scope to the Local Guide Program. This was not a planned process for me, but providence has shifted my direction to be called upon, as i have. The privilege is mine to serve you as a guide. In fact to be the best at it. This experience is quite unique to me as a guide and inquirer. I say this, because, it provides me with the efficiency of knowledge, clarity, curiosity and a sense of fulfillment, through the question of others, and the ability to find a favorable answer to the inquirer seeking direction and knowledge. I am privileged, if not evenly humbled to provide the servitude and service to the Google Platform algorithm and to the users who can reach the help and assistance in real time. This is real innovation, real effectiveness and real social development. I will continue to be apart of the solution as a Local Guide. More so, an honest one.
