What does the Local Guides Program mean to Me?

Being a local Guide has brought me much joy and it means so much to me in the areas of so many things including. Local Guide has made me to be aware with the environtment wherever I go. As a Local Guide certainly gives satisfaction that can not be paid by anything. I can meet many people with various background, culture, and character. Sharing information about places, culinary, buildings, or others is certainly an amazing experience that allows me to communicate with many people that I did not know before. Of course it also makes me have a new family that is not only with fellow Local Guides, but also with other people both from within and outside the country.

I love reviewing places, answering questions from places I have visited and as a result shine the light on food, event parks, restaurants, hotels and great landscapes from interesting parts of my country Indonesia or the other countries that I visited.

Last time, I got the opportunity to accompany Mrs. Cang Shu Mei from Taiwan to around the Jakarta city. And by the oppptunity, I had a new friend from Taiwan.

Hello @CeritaAndy and welcome to Connect!

Thank you for sharing your story! I just wanted to let you know that I have removed the Indonesian language tag of your post as it’s written in English. These types of labels are used so that posts in different languages can be found more easily by Local Guides who are speakers of these languages. You can learn more about language tags in the article: How do I find posts in my preferred language?.
