I don´t even remember how did I came across Local Guides, but I do remember that I was eager to share places, pictures, and advice to others visiting my city or the places I visit as a Tourist.
There are so many unknown places in plain sight, with incredible histories, I’ve been lucky enough to be the first to add some of these places and their pictures. Local guides also mean to me, an opportunity to find places when traveling or even in my own city!
Something marvelous about the Local Guides Program, it has been an opportunity for me to learn more about the places I want to share, I´ve found places I haven´t seen before, but I have passed by countless times.
So it is an opportunity to learn, to share, to find, to prise mostly, and complain to a few some.
Local guides also mean frustration when I´ve been adding information for a new place, I have talked to the owner or manager, taken pictures, added opening hours… and maps crashes and prompts something like " maps has stopped…bla bla " 
It also means trustfulness to me, since I know how it works from the inside out, I know I can trust information published here.
An there is also pride when you read that thousands of hundreds of people have seen your pictures and some others have read your lines.
So local Guides Feels good to me.
