We are all lucky to live in an amazing time of technology breakthrough. Without leaving your home, you can see the sights and the splendor of the landscape of the planet with only one gadget and network connection. An incredible online trip to any corner of the planet has become as simple as checking mail or creating a message. Just enter the necessary destination - and in a second you can contemplate the panoramas, photos of this place, as well as a description, emotions, memories.
To create this invaluable opportunity mankind needs us - Local guides. And I’m infinitely proud to be one of the Local guides, as I can be the “eyes”, “ears” and even the “impressions” of any Google Maps user on the planet. I help people to see places they have not been to before and my photos can help people make the right choice when planning a trip / shopping / entertainment. Awareness of your contribution to the creation of the positive experience of many, many people from different parts of the world gives an indescribable feeling of joy from the opportunity to contribute, to help, to show, to share, to answer the question.
We are all lucky to live in an amazing time of technology breakthrough. The first planets of the Solar system are already available on Google Maps. I am sure that over time, with the development of technology, Google will be able to expand its maps beyond the limits of the Solar system. And just like now, Local guides-colonizers of planets and satellites will be the eyes and ears of earthlings. And we will be able to see places on other planets using only one gadget and network connection. Our descendants, despite their physical capabilities, will be able just to scroll to see the places where the discoverers visited, what they felt and managed to photograph. Isn’t it futuristically exciting to see the number of stars in a review about a cafe on Mars or a hotel on Ceres? ![]()
But, returning to Earth and to the topic of this post, I want to thank all the managers and participants for their invaluable contribution to the creation of maps of our planet. Let’s make it as accurate as possible, filled with beautiful high-quality photos and impressions. We have a lot of work to do! ![]()
