What does the Local Guides program mean to me: Sharing economy and sharing community.

To me, it means sharing economy and sharing community. Even though I’ve never met anyone, we share the information of the places, events, foods and more through the Google Maps. Moreover, we share the memories of the places we’ve been to with many pictures and posts. The Local Guides Program makes our future, which means WE make our future! Each one of us posts the photos and writes some reviews, the circle of our community gets bigger and bigger.

I like going out for lunch or dinner and traveling around the world with my friends even by myself. When I go out the places I’ve never been to, I always use Google Maps to search the information of the places, how to get there and look for other things to do around the places.

When I went shopping to Kagurazaka for the first time, I found the restaurant “Maison de la Bourgogne” on Google Maps. I checked the star numbers, comments and where it’s located before I went there. Thanks to these information I could add a new good French restaurant on my like-list. I definitely recommend this place to my friends. I thanked to the Local guides who gave me the information.

Even if I go to somewhere by myself, I feel like I’m always with someone on Google Maps since someone helps me to find the information of the places. Also, I feel like I can help someone by posting my photos and giving some information.

The Local Guides Program makes my life wider. I continue to go more places I’ve never been and share my memories and the information to my friends on Google Maps!
