One fine day, I was busy with my daily chores and suddenly my phone popped with a notification from Google Maps asking me to write a review on some place which I had visited in my past. I thought this to be fun and responded the notification by writing down the review about that particular place which I had visited. But later on I started to find the local guide more and more interesting as I gradually explored other functionalities like adding photos and videos, editing a place name, reviewing a place, checking facts and adding places which is unknown to the world and is undoubtedly beautiful, likable and supposed to be exposed to the people, giving them a new perspective to travel to that place. I would like to mention a city in New Zealand named “Hokitika”. It was one of the best detours which I found by the reviews mentioned by others on Google Maps when I was on my way from Lake Tekapo to Franz Joseph in New Zealand.
I was certainly not a great “write type” person but by joining this program and giving my perspectives and reviews about the places I have traveled to, has helped me built some Good Vibes. Unknowingly following this process it has taken me to a different level of attachment with local guide which I wish to keep forever with me.
Also when unknown person would view my review and finds it helpful, it would satisfy me. I would actually feel that i have been someone’s personal guide when someone would view my photos and videos and would decide their tour plans based on my review. This would be the amazing feeling for me to help someone in the world unknown to me.
