I have started to be active on Local Guide program when I was travelling fromMalaysia to Europe over land in 2019.
It was a special time in my life, I arrived in a new city every week, for 7 months. That was when I started to rely heavily on Google Map for recommendations on food, accommodation and attractions. At the same time, I started to write reviews and update information on Google Map to give back to the community.
Now (2020), a year later, I feel a moment of nostalgia looking back at the list of reviews on my Google Maps. Flicking through the reviews triggered memory of the places, peoples and adventures. It has the record of my once in a lifetime extended travel experience!
