I’ve been a part of Local Guide since about 6 years ago. Local Guides gives me an opportunity to introduce “what is it here” in the city I live in. Otherwise, I also get a lot of informations when I travel to some places I’ve never been to.
For instance, when I was travelling to India in 2018, I dont know where to go for a city tour in Delhi. Local Guides gives all of those informations. Likewise, I also give information about places I’ve been visited and made a review of it. It helps people who visit there to know what is it look like. It’s like a harmony of giving and receiving.
I live in the small, remote city, in the center of Borneo island, Indonesia. I’ve been living here for almost 6,5 years.
Living in a small city, I see people here are not familiar with Google Maps, but most of them are android users. I think, adding a new place in google maps will help a lot of people. Even though they are not familiar with the application, but once they open it, they will find it is useful, and continue using it, and give a contribution to it, and finally a lot of people helped. Small thing makes impact.
Good places need good review, right? So here is one of my reviews
Knowing that a lot of people are helped by our contribution is exiting. Google always send a monthly email informing how many people has been helped, and how many times our photos are viewed.
I love to make people happy with contribution i made, and that makes my life more meaningful.
I went to this place after seeing people’s review on Google Maps. The show was dramatic and spectacular.
