Ever since I was a child, I had this never ending curiosity of finding out the stories of the places where I visited. I was also equally fond of telling these stories to my friends. Twenty odd years have passed and I still have the same child within me. The only difference is that now Google Maps is where I ask questions when I want to explore and the entire Google Maps community is my friend circle and Technology has made it possible.
This platform feeds the enthusiastic photographer in me as well. I live in Delhi and it is very well known for its architecture. Thus, there is an open sky of possibilities for everyone to explore. I love taking pictures and sharing them and I believe that Google Maps is the best platform to share their pictures and this is the place where these photographs hold maximum relevance as it is where people need to see the places beforehand, making it better targeted and knowledge that is very targeted
is feeling well received.
And not just as a contributor but even as a consumer, Google Maps has been of immense help. It helps me, it helps me in helping people which in-turn helps me in building myself better as a person. I am a firm believer of Karma theory and that is what drives me here as well. I once wanted to visit the children park with my family and just before we were of planning to go out, I decided to check how the park is. It was then when one of the reviews stated that the park closes at 6:00 p.m. We called the plan off. Not a big deal for others but given that I had a very small child and senior elders with me, it made me thankful towards the review. These little things usually end up leaving larger impacts in life. I hope to do the same for someone else because goodwill will never have a cap on how many people should have it .
After I decided to dedicatedly follow my Google Maps trajectory, I was also awarded by Google Maps for doing well. From the various gifts to being certified as the top 1% in Ghaziabad, Google Maps has been a great source of happiness as well.
The Google Maps is a platform that made me realise why such platform should exist and how they can make changes in a person’s life and his personality. I would like to express gratitude towards Google Maps for being that platform for me.
