I am Elena from Kyiv, Ukraine, and my level is 5 in Local Guides. I mention the places I have visited, write reviews and add some photos to help others to discover interesting places. But I have never considered myself as an EXPERT in Local Guides. I was very pleased to find out that my reviews are really useful, and there are other benefits this program includes. It increased my interest in Local Guides. I would like to talk to people from other countries, to learn more about their experience, new ideas and new possibilities Local Guides offers. I am the mother of a little girl, and I’m on my maternity leave now. As I often spend time with my daughter out of home, Local Guides program is a great tool for me to share our experience with other parents.
In our country, there weren’t many children-friendly places for a long time. However, many such places have been recently opened, and their number is currently increasing. These are cafes and restaurants with kider-rooms and nannies, parks, cinemas 0+, fitness clubs for babies, baby-theaters, contact zoos, entertainment centers, spas with a baby room, brunches for mothers with their children, forums meetings and many more.
I am happy I can share my experience with other moms through Local Guides and I have many other ideas which I would like to implement with the help of this project and the experience of Experts from other countries. I want to take part in Connect Live 2020 in California to learn more about Local Guides and Google overall, to explore interesting possibilities I can use to put my ideas into practice.
