When I started reviewing and creating a place on Google Map I realize that my local village Wase, Nigeria was not fully captured and so many locations in my Local Government are not covered, I am the one updated my local area with about 80% - 90% contribution, so Local Guide program mean anything to me and my community that you can identify any place, location that we captured now in case of any emergency because its a rural location.
