The best thing which the digital age has brought, according to me, is the ability to bring people to your “world” – give them your own perspective and lead them to something great – and being a Local Guide it helps me doing that – like its built for that exact thing! Being able to provide the community with some genuine feedback has always made me feel great. It feels natural for me to provide a feedback in a way which not only encourages the places to continue doing the great work and be even better but also bring them up a perspective which they might not even know of which if taken up will definitely bring better experiences for others.
One such example which comes to my mind is the review which I posted for LensKart outlet – and since the guys there really stood out and went out of their way to help – i wanted to bring people’s attention towards them. The store owner called me later that day to not only thank me for the review but also mentioning that the guys who are part of the store have stood with the values and that it makes her feel delighted!
Another example would be the review below wherein although the drinks and ambience of the place stand out but an oversight on food quality may be costing the place of its deserving business – and by bringing it on my review i could get the owner’s attention who reached out to me with the steps to be taken. I love that how being able to put words to my experiences are bringing positive changes.
By listing down places I visit – I am able to provide my fellow community members with a window to sneak peak and then know what to expect and what not. I feel that being able to do this as a local guide really makes me feel happy and content – and as mentioned doing all of this just comes naturally – specially with the way it has been designed so a big thank you to the guys who have come up with the idea and the team which has implemented this has done a great job! Thank you guys!
