Well, let me start by saying that I had no clue that I was a local guide and I have gained some ratings for my work, So thanx to google for recognizing people like me. I didn’t have any idea that I would be able to do this thing without even noticing that I would be impacting the local guides system. I am a big nature freak, as I would love to go out in woods rather than be in concrete. I was using the google maps from the day I discovered it and had that curiosity to know and learn more. One day while using I came to know that I can contribute to maps and I started right away. The local guide program made me do things that I wasn’t expecting of myself I’ll be doing. Local guide program made me realize that I can put my favorite place in the whole world in the world tourist map. I love my hometown, it has immense potential of being a tourist destination especially for trekkers, mountaineers, and hikers. Filed with many pic
turesque sceneries, different mountain ranges and what we could say a great natural view. local guide program gave me the power of showing the world that a small place can be globally recognized. I was able to impact a few persons by sharing the destinations of my hometown which are vastly spread and which have been neglected even by the local government and authority. I was able to go to those places, not all of them though as there are many destinations still wanting to be explored. I am not a professional photographer nor am I as a professional youtuber, or guide. This was the perfect thing that made me realize that I can be anything and still be a photographer and a guide. I am willing to promote my hometown as it has got the potential of being a perfect a perfect tourist destination, and I am sure that the local guide program will help me in the future also as it is doing presently. I would love to invite more and more enthusiasts to come and join me in promoting this beautiful place. The local guide program is like giving a person the ability to learn and teach others simultaneously. It has empowered me to mark the location on the google maps which are still unkown to the world. It has given me the biggest platform for doing a very small but important thing of making people know about a place that may be as beautiful as there are in Switzerland or Scandinavia.
