There is a saying that “we should learn from our mistakes”. This was written long time back when there was no internet and social media. In today’s world it should be “we should learn from others mistakes”. Google guide program provides that kind of platform where one can learn from others mistakes and feedback on google maps.
For instance I was going to a dentist and before going there I read the reviews in google maps and got to know that this dentist just want to mint money by telling that some issue is there in the teeth. when I went there I also faced the same issue and the dentist told me that 6 of my teeth’s have cavity and it will cost 6k to remove it. As I was aware about the dentist already I told them I do not want to do it and took second opinion from a different dentist and there was no cavity.
Local guide program made me realize my new talent that is photography. I explored this talent and started taking very unique photos of various things and places and started posting my reviews on google maps.

Second thing which I love is travelling the world, google guide program helped me find various good places to explore. I always take help from other fellow local guides about the places which I like to visit. This is very good initiative from google to put the unexplored places on google maps as local people knows their area better than anyone else. Below are few places which Visited in last few years.
Whenever I want to find the best service providers I look for the reviews by the local guides as I can trust them. I also make sure I give review for every place I visit and every service I use. In a way it is a power and responsibility in our hand. We can build or destruct any business with this power. We should not give fake reviews by taking money from the business otherwise the program will loos its value.
