I was introduced to the local guides program a few years back and since then it has had a significant importance in my life. A picture is worth a thousand words they say and this is my very favourite thing on Google maps, to share my experience through pictures. Being a student of architecture and heritage conservation, I have got opportunities to visit many of the lesser known but extremely beautiful places in India. I share pictures and reviews about these amazing places and it gives me a feeling of pride that I am able to share my knowledge about my country’s history and heritage to others which is not known to many. Learning about new places and sharing that learning with others through Google maps has always encouraged me to do more and helped me evolve and grow.
