For me the Local Guide program makes me feel helpful, by connecting thru my sincere opinion, local entrepreneurs and people from all over the world. Mostly restaurants, since Im a big foodie. Ive always dreamed about issuing a local guide/magazine in my neighborhood to help promote locals and now I get that feeling thanks to the program. Makes me feel proud of where I come from. I also believe the program helps business owners improve on their weakest points.

Thanks for sharing your experience as a Local Guide! Sometimes I was also contacted by the owner of a restaurant thanking me for my reviews or pictures. Those interactions is definitely one of the reason why being a Local Guide is so special.
