What does the Local Guide program mean to me? Extra tastes.

First of all, it means helping others to find information. Adding opening hours of a pub makes people able to decide whether go or not to go. Besides, adding a place gives the possibility to find what wasn’t reachable before otherwise: the exact position will be indicate on the maps with all the information which you will have told. Answers about accessibility, photos and videos will complete the description.
Secondly, writing reviews helps me to be aware of my impressions, put my self in the shoes of others and choose which objectively could be useful for someone else. Certainly, I write about my personal experience, as in a diary, but I try to make my reviews both neutral and complete. Comprehensiveness is never too much: all the particulars, also what seems to be obvious, are important. For example, fun facts, costs and suggestions are topics - if it is the case - which I include every time.

Castle of Valentino, Turin

It’s like going beyond, over a gate, over a climb, over a limit.

Last but not least, the mere and pure passion for using Maps.
Definitely, the Local Guide program is my way to tell how wonderful the world is and share what I have found.
