What does local guides program means to me?

This is prabhat Majumdar,local guide level 6 from rajkot, Gujarat, India.

Local guides program to means helping users by giving honest reviews,exploring places,clicking helpful photos.

My journey as a local guide started about three years ago when I was going through the google maps app.I feel proud to be associated with local guides program because I am able to help so many people through my reviews,by uploading helpful photos and adding missing places.I can see the monthly update from google every month in which I see how many people have seen my reviews and photographs and this is really great.

Till now I have got more than2,50,000 views on my photos m got more than 10000 views on my reviews and this really motivates me to keep up the good work.

I will share a incident of adding a missing place with u all

As I am a anchor and a voice over artist I have to visit a recording studio very frequently so on one day when I had gone for a recording I saw the owner talking on phone with someone and was not able to explain his address very clearly to the opposite person so i asked him

that whether he has added his location in google maps or not he said no I also said that he was not aware of google maps so immediately I added his location as a missing place and after adding it was very easy for him to share his location so nowadays whenever i visit his studio he always thanks me for helping him.

I also get appreciation from business owners who are benefited by my reviews

my reviews have helped them grow their business and this keeps me motivated to work more hard

I am enjoying my journey as a local guide and I thank google for creating such a great app for local guides and users.
