I started my journey with Google Local Guide a few years back. To be honest, I was not entirely sure at that time that someday its going to be so important to me. Today, I am glad that I made that step.
So, I was always into taking photos. Whether it was a picture of a dish that I ordered at a restaurant, or meeting a friend all of sudden or going to a place even if it was not a historical one. I just had to take some pictures in all cases. Now, being an active facebook user, I used to post photos of the places and foods at facebook all the time. But with that, I was sharing them with my facebook friends only. When I came to understand that what Google Local Guide was, I realized that through my pictures and reviews I would be able to spread my experience with the whole world. People who does not even know me will be able to see my pictures and know about my experience about a place. That way, I will be able to help a lot of people to make an informed decision about something they wanted to experience themselves.
The thing I love about being a Local Guide is it makes me feel that I have no boundary when it comes to sharing my clicks. I absolutely love seeing views on my photos. One of my photos taken at Hero Burgers has reached over 200K views…Yeey! Posting it again here ?
