I have been a contributor way back in 2016. During this time I am curious about how Google’s contribution works, and by knowing that I’ll be helping people & businesses by just posting a photo, sharing personal experiences, so i didn’t hesitate to contribute. Being part of Google as a contributor feels like, your part of a mission that will build an enormous difference in the whole world. And let’s admit it when we hear or read the word Google, it is something that we wanted to be part of, and dreaming to be one of them, because of the positivity they bring to our everyday life.
Our nature as a human being is to help others, in a way that we can. Google’s contribution gave us an opportunity to naturally bring that in the table, boosting and increasing the area of unlimited possibilities where we can help. As a local guide, I started to focus on photography to start helping the whole world.

Photos and my personal reviews of the location I visited. In this picture, you can see that Hi-Rice Grill and restaurant dine-in area photos have 847, 600 views and counting. I realize that this single photo just not help them to see the dine-in area of this restaurant, it helps them plan their special day, have their lunch meeting here, save money and gasoline, because they don’t have to check the area anymore and it contribute to reducing the air pollution because they won’t be using their cars. It’s really amazing to know the effect of our good action.
This single photo might be enough for others to make a decision to go to this restaurant or made a reservation. But this photo is a part of everyone’s work of all local guides who shared their amazing experience with this restaurant. And I call it “Universal hand to hand teamwork.” Through everybody’s contribution, it will give realistic expectations and confident decision making for the person who’s planning to go here. Imagine for a single photo we upload this is how we help.
We can help in unlimited ways! For example, these photo are taken recently during my interview with the owners of the restaurants in Dubai Bur Dubai. We talked about the history and how they started the business, and others share the struggles they have to face to reach success. After talking to them I notice how easy for them to provide information to me, and somehow in my head, I remember that all of them gave me a very nice smile. And I said to myself, they are happy because we as local guides ask the roots of their success, someone who’s willing to know the story and importance of their hard works. We are willing to increase their digital presence to the world, giving them our hands without expecting any return.
For me being a Local Guide means to be a lifetime commitment to help other unconditionally and at the same time giving importance to everyone, that will make you a better person and a reminder that everyone’s goal is to share their helping hands to everybody.
