Through google maps I found lots of interesting places and meet people’s from around the world. Thats make me proud being a local guides because we can share each others about cultures, travel experience, customs,idea exchange, local dishes and so on. I can represent my surroundings with my point of view.
I have met a lot of local guides from Indonesia and also from abroad. I not only met, but there are benefits to be gained. Because every local guide comes from a different background.
l am passionate about traveling and culinary. I love meeting people’s from anywhere. As a local guide, everyone who visits Jakarta and meets me, I always offer the experience of exploring the city with various alternative transportation, tasting local dishes, Enjoying local coffee’s, visiting museums, parks and etc.
A Story of my Life : Local guides connect people to the whole world.
Besides meeting with many Local Guide communities in Indonesia I also met with local guides from other countries.
Starting from when I and my fellow local guides met with one of the local guides from Jordan @OSAMA . I am really excited to see him. Thank you for the good cooperation Pak @BudiFXW ,Bang @RahmatHarmanP ,Bu @Ddimitra and my fellow Jakarta Local Guides.
During his stay in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta, we did a lot of activities 3 days in a row and I was happy to take part in this amazing meet ups.
Another story came from @Saidulkarim from Malaysia, his arrival in Jakarta besides the holidays, also met with my fellow local guides and celebrated his birthday. I am sure this will be a beautiful moment that will not be forgotten in his life.
I met one of the local guides from Tanzania, Africa @ImmanuelinAsia He studied at one of university in East Java. When he visited Jakarta and stayed at my house. I talked a lot about local guides, and he was interested. And I challenge him to enjoy local Indonesian food that I cook by myself, namely Spicy fried rice. And the result he gave up. ha ha ha
One of the most exciting moments for me was when I met @caioptorres from Brazil and
@user_not_found from Belgium and their partners. I told them about Local Guides program and they were interested .At that time there was a community event at the National stadium . As a local guide I introduce them about a huge biggest’s stadium in Jakarta also Indonesian food festival. They are truly traveler and I am very happy to hear the story of their journey. it was very impressive.See you when i see you again friends.
I believe that having a local guide platform can make friendships with people from all over the world. Many things we can share. That’s why I am proud being a local guides.
