I have been a local guide for a year and being a local guide has been an amazing experience. For me, the local guide is a platform for my emotions, knowledge, and experience.
I love photography and through my photos, I convey my emotions and feelings about how I feel about a certain place.’ A picture is worth thousand words’. Local Guide has provided an amazing feature of adding photos and share it with the rest of the world and evoke the same emotions among viewers as I did. Not only that, but it also provides information about how many people have seen my pics which is motivational as one of my photos has more than 200k views. I am so grateful that many people have read my views so that I know I am doing something important and my contributions are making an impact. I have added a pic with my family to show how happy we were at Miracle garden. Simple but sweet.
I also get to share my experiences through local guides which helps people to know about the true reality of a place so that they can avoid going there without any prior knowledge and have an unforgettable experience.
Finally, it is spectacular how I can provide information about businesses and help potential customers. By answering questions and answers and writing a detailed and helpful review I feel like I am a Hero. Saving people from going to bad places and solving all their problems. I love exploring new places and share what I learned with everybody. The local guide helps me to contribute to Google Maps and help millions of people around the world. The small questions like whether a place is wheelchair accessible or not can be helpful for those in need of an answer.
Also, through the local guide program, I get to meet new like-minded people and be part of such a beautiful community.
